Thomas was born on February 25 1922 in Amulet Saskatchewan as the son of Samuel Edwin (in the army too) and Marie Hull, of Vancouver. His brother was Clifford George Hull.
He was a millworker and member of the Church of England. He played football and baseball, liked swimming and reading detective stories. His hobbies were carpeting and boat building.
He enlisted on December 15 1941 in Vancouver and he went on June 14 1944 overseas to the UK and he went thereafter on October 28 to NW Europe.
Thomas was killed in action on Wednesday March 28 1945 age 23 near Emmerich Germany during the battle of the Rhineland. And he was temporarily buried in Vrasselt Germany and he was then on February 13 1946 reburied in Groesbeek.

His medals were: 1939-45 Star; France Germany Star; War Medal; CVSM & Clasp.
William was born on November 8 1922 in Langford British Columbia as the son of Douglas B. F. and Cecilia Mary Bullen, of Langford. His brothers were J.D. F, J.T., R.G. and R.M Bullen (all four were in the army too).
He was a student and member of the Church of England.
He enlisted on February 6 1942 in Victoria British Columbia and he went on December 20 overseas to the UK and he went thereafter on December 30 1944 to NW Europe. He was seriously wounded in action on March 28 1945 and he had an amputation of his right under leg then.
William died of these wounds on Friday March 30 1945 age 22 near Emmerich during the battle of the Rhineland. And he was temporarily buried in Bedburg Hau Germany and he was then on September 24 1945 reburied in Groesbeek.

William was born on March 10 1924 in Vancouver as the son of William and May Westbrook (both English), of Hardy Island, British Columbia. They were married on November 9 1916 in Reigate Surrey England. His sister Daphne May Harding nee Westbrook was his next of kin and she was officially appointed so in his last will. His other sister was Hazel Joan Ross and his other brother Arthur James Westbrook already deceased in 1933.
He was a logger and member of the United Church.
He enlisted on February 29 1944 in Vancouver and he went on October 20 overseas to the UK and he went thereafter on November 18 to NW Europe.
William was killed in action on Monday February 19 1945 age 20 in the A Coy at the Moyland Wood during the battle of the Rhineland. And he was temporarily buried in Bedburg Hau Germany and he was then on September 19 1945 reburied in Groesbeek.

Zdisl (Jack) was born on October 2, 1921 Mienwinku, Poland as the son of Nickolas (Nick) and Ludwika (deceased) Rudski (both Polish), of Round Valley, Alberta. They were married on July 10 1910 in Wismice Poland. His brothers were Joseph and Adolph Rudski and his sisters were Mary Sekida nee Rudski and Stephania and Janine Rudski. And the already deceased siblings were Marianne and Mieczyslaus Rudski.
He was a lumberman and member of the Roman Catholic Church. He spoke Polish and English and his hobby was woodwork
He enlisted on November 1 1941 in Edmonton and he went on May 12 1942 overseas to the UK and he went thereafter on November 4 1944 to NW Europe.
Zdisl was killed in action on Wednesday March 28 1945 age 23 in the C Coy near Emmerich Germany during the battle of the Rhineland. And he was temporarily buried in Vrasselt Germany and he was then on February 13 1946 reburied in Groesbeek.

David was born on October 18 1920 in Stout British Columbia as the son of George and Pearl Janicki (both Ukrainians) , of Vernon, British Columbia. They were married on July 28 1916 in Yorkton Saskatchewan. His brothers were Nick (also with the same regiment overseas and he survived the war), Frederick Alex and Tony Walter Janicki and his sister was Verna Irene Janicki and Mary Janicki died as a baby in 1918.
He was a waiter and he was member of the Church of England. He enjoyed baseball and softball and read very little.
He enlisted on May 30 1942 in Otter Point Camp British Columbia and he went overseas to the UK on May 23 1943 and he went thereafter on June 6 1944 to France for the D-Day landing.
David was killed in action on Friday February 9 1945 age 24 in the B Coy at the Waal flats during the battle of the Rhineland and he was temporarily buried then in Nijmegen before being reburied on August 2 1945 in Groesbeek.

The mountain “Mount Janicki” West of Vernon was honoured on July 13 1995 to David Janicki.
